Incoming Prime Minister Theresa May call immediate election for Brexit mandate

Petition Details

UK now deeply divided. Scotland & Northern Ireland voted to remain part of Europe. Leaders of leave EU campaign Nigel Farage & Boris Johnson have disappeared. Negotiation complexity & outcome after triggering Article 50 is unknown. Petition for 2nd EU referendum now refused. Election now imperative

Additional Information

Theresa May as the incoming Prime Minister can only but call an immediate election in order for citizens to consider mandate of the current government to proceed formally leaving the EU.

Businesses, citizens & government want certainty. What is not certain is negotiations after triggering Article 50. It could take several years for negotiations to be completed. Economic activity is falter & worse leaving EU.

The government of the day immediately call election to give legitimacy to leaving EU
