Create an official Register for those wishing to change their EU Referendum vote
With regards to the EU Referendum, I am concerned that the UK is about to make an irreversible change to leave the EU. The Referendum result was close and many have spoken on television to say they have changed their minds. I would like an official register of those who wish to change their votes.
The UK has worked closely with our neighbours in Europe since we joined the European community in 1973, the Single Market in 1987 and the European Union in 1993. The UK parliament is about to make a historic change to this relationship with our European neighbours and I am concerned there was some misleading campaigning on both sides of the debate and people have expressed a wish to change their vote either way. A register should be taken of these people in order to validate the official result.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Voting in the UK is anonymous, so it is not clear how a register of this kind would be able to verify that those signing it really did want to change their original vote.
