We demand a general election before the triggering of Article 50.
When the current UK government was elected in May 2015 none of the major political parties presented their vision for how our relationship with the EU should change in the event of a vote for Brexit.
The UK public must have the opportunity to vote upon the way in which our government renegotiates our relationship with the EU. It is essential that the UK government has the support of the UK public during this complex and critical phase that will decide our country’s future.
We call upon our elected representatives to vote to dissolve the current parliament so that a new parliament can be constructed with a clear vision for the United Kingdom’s next steps.
