Call a General Election that allows 16-17 year old people to vote.

Petition Details

The next PM is unelected this is not democratic, an election should have happened when Gordon Brown took office don't allow this to happen again. 16 and 17 year olds are competent and understand that their vote can make a difference and so should be allowed to vote.

After all a 16-year-old in Britain can get married, pay tax and join the army, so why on earth should they not be allowed to take part in the democratic process, especially when it involves a decision that greatly affects them?
