Make not paying a taxi/private hire soiling fee a criminal offence.

Petition Details

Why is the soiling fee not a criminal offence when not paying the fare on the meter is a criminal offence.

So many times drivers are put off the road while they get there car cleaned and back up to standard, why should the driver be out of pocket when it was no fault of the driver.
