Empower our Select Committees of Parliament with the same Rights and Powers of a US Senate Committee

Additional Information

Update the powers of the select committees to have the same legal authourity to summon people and make them swear on oath as US senate committees do. This should be for select committees in both chambers. The need for this change was highlighted during the recent Murdoch hearing in Parliament
