Allow first time home buyers to pay stamp duty in installments.
Stamp duty for first time buyers makes buying a new home prohibitive for many. The government should allow first time buyers to pay it installments, rather than having to pay it up front.
Buying a new home is extremely difficult due to the enormous up front cost of the deposit. Even with the governmental schemes to help prospective new home owners stamp duty still poses a major hurdle to every first time home buyer. Allow them to pay it in installments.
