Criminals should serve their full sentences.End Remission.
The sentences handed down by the courts are hugely misleading.
The majority of British people understandably think a 10 year sentence means a criminal will serve 10 years in prison.They would be outraged to realise that the policy of remission means the vast majority of criminals serve less than half that sentence.
50% off automatically is ludicrous,unjust and misleading.
Sentences are already perceived as inadequate,automatic remission is an insult to victims and society in general.
