Make Counselling and Psychotherapy a professional qualification.
Anyone is able to set up in private practice and call themselves a Counsellor or Psychotherapist.
I would like a minimum qualification that is recognised by a regulatory body, such as the BACP, to benchmark a qualification to prevent poorly trained or unqualified individuals from practising.
