Make dog on dog attacks an offence so police have to investigate
Today my dog got attacked by another dog, it ran out from under a hedge because it escaped his holding post. My dog was being put to sleep tomorrow and unfortunately had to move it to today, meaning I couldn't say bye. The police was told & their was 'we can't do anything for dog on dog attacks'.
It's not about the breed, it's about the dogs behaviour! If this had been a human the police would have bee straight out...I was even told this. There is no legislation to follow up dog on dog (or any other animal) attacks. If it can attack a dog it can go for a child.
