Extend the 'Aiming High for Young People' Plan
The 'Aiming High for Young People Plan' provides young people with funding and comfort, as well as an escape for troubled kids. Without the appropriate places for young people to stay off the streets, crime has statistically increased in these areas.
By next year, the government will stop providing a place of comfort for young people in every consistentuency, the government will stop providing £25 million for teenagers in disadvantaged communities, and the government will stop providing young people influence over local authority funding. This needs to be changed. We, as gatekeepers for the next generation, must make sure the youth develop with the optimum funding and appreciation. The futures of millions of children holds in the balance.
