make local councils collect rubbish bins once a week.
local councils are using the austerity measures to cut back on rubbish bin collections in the UK, this is causing the rodent population to grow this will have a effect on public health, every household pay's rising council tax for bins to be collected, yet councils cut back on this basic service.
whilst council tax rises local authorities are cutting public rubbish bin services to bi weekly and it is reported in the media that one council is thinking about monthly collections this must not be permitted to happen for the health of the nation ,we ask the government to make all councils in the UK revert back to weekly collections and that legislation be made so this basic sanitation must be provided by all councils who charge council tax.
