Petition Action

Update the Dog (fouling of land) act

Petition Details

Police say they can't act to arrest a owner who persistentantly allows his dogs to defecate in a communal garden because it's not public. The local dog warden hasn't enough powers to stop it and the council hasn't acted in four months where I've shown dog faeces on a daily basis being left for days

Additional Information

I have videos of the dogs defecating the communal garden. Evidence that the council haven't acted. Emails showing delays in response despite raising health concerns. The police have even visited and requested that the faeces gets picked up but can't do more as its not covered under that act.
