Stop schools charging outrageous prices for uniform with a school logo on.
School uniform is a great idea. Its creates an identity and gives the child a certain responsiblity. The amount of uniform a child needs can pose a big cost to the parent. Is logo'd sports kits really necessary? Why do they need to be so expensive? How can schools justify the cost to each family?
How can a child's blazer cost £48 when a whole suit for an adult can cost £20 from a supermarket?. I urge the government to look at the cost of school uniform and help to get the cost reduced for all.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about whether or not to require pupils to wear a uniform are the responsibility of individual schools and their governing bodies.
