Cold calling for investment and pensions should be banned
Cold calling on investments and pensions to members of the public often leads to unregulated investments and scams. Banning cold calling would dramatically reduce the number of people falling prey to fraudsters and losing their savings and pensions.
Fraudsters often rely on cold calling members of the public to entice them with promises of high guaranteed returns on investments and pensions. Invariably these calls lead to unregulated investments and fraudsters where people will lose their money.
Banning cold calling will cut the life blood to the fraudsters and make it more difficult for them to reach vulnerable members of the public.
