Make GPs stop giving out prescriptions for over the counter painkillers
In 2015 the NHS spent 87 million pound on prescriptions for paracetemol alone aswell as 27 million on ibruprofen. These are medication that can be purchased for 20p in any shop imagine the money the NHS could save and how many urgent operations could be made with the money that will be saved.
