Cap private rents at Local Housing Allowance (LHA) levels in England

Petition Details

LHAs are not typical of private rents. Those claiming Housing Benefit still have to top up their total rent from other benefits - often an impossible task, leading to rent arrears and crippling poverty. LHAs must be brought into line with actual private rents, or rents capped at the level of LHA.
