Solution to restrict migration, whilst appeasing freedom of movement
All solutions on this issue will not please everyone, so neutral ground must be found. This I believe is a good solution to restrict the number of incoming EU nationals while maintaining freedom of movement to those who genuinely want to live & work in the UK, which in turn allows free trade with EU
• All EU arrivals to the UK must complete 24 months of paid contributions to the state before receiving free NHS care
• Prior to completing the 24 months, all those who do not qualify for free state medical care must have a private European style health insurance policy
• All foreign nationals wishing to transfer money overseas must pay a government stamp duty or tax
• EU nationals claiming benefits, a maximum of 20% of income into the account is allowed to be transferred outside of the UK
