We want the government to do what is best for the Nation which is remain in EU.
The MPs Code of Conduct requires MPs to have an overriding duty to the Nation. The Nation is Scotland, N.I. Wales and England. It must prevail over any special duty to their constituents or party.
The vote to Brexit was too small to inflict such massive damage on this and future generations.
On 23/6/16 there was a snapshot of opinion, some of which will have been based on misinformation. The referendum was "advisory" and "non binding" a purely consultative exercise that was not binding on this or any future government.
Staying in the EU is best for the Nation to make sure the UK has a voice on any proposed reforms and continue working with our allies for Peace, Prosperity and in Research.
It is not best for the Nation that we become insular in every sense of the word.
