Cancel HS2 and reinvest the budget in infrastructure projects with better return
The costs for HS2 are rising substantially and the projected benefits have been challenged as too optimistic by most analysts. London will benefit more than the North. Its long delivery time limits any immediate economic stimulus . Better value would be delivered by other transport projects
