Allow unaccompanied refugee minors in Calais be fostered or adopted in the UK.
"We the undersigned believe the Government needs to reconsider it's policy on the receiving of child migrants from Calais. There are many people waiting g to adopt or foster right now who could look after these children.
Having had a fostering placement open for 4 months and knowing others in a similar situation these children can be accommodated in loving homes. There are 1500 people waiting to adopt from a pool of 500 children in the UK, numerous foster placements staying empty due to the need to place sibling groups together, when many carers can only take one child. There is space for these children and a change is needed now to prevent a humanitarian disaster on our doorstep.
