Reduce the number of petitions that are identical to improve success rates.
There are hundreds of petitions that go nowhere, and too many to look at. If a better natural language, heuristic driven parser were applied to petitions then more would succeed by removing the fluff and leaving the cherries for discerning punters to focus on.
I'm bored of seeing the umpteenth 'stay in the EU, pretty please' petition. If better filtering were applied then there would be less dilution and more quality in the petition system.

The Committee already has a rule of not accepting duplicate petitions, and any that make exactly the same point as an existing petition are rejected.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly the action that you would like the Government or Parliament to take in this area.
