Petition Action

Allow 16 & 17 year olds to vote in a separate EU referendum.

Petition Details

We are asking the government to allow 16 and 17 year olds as well as 18 year olds who were too young on June 23rd to be given a separate referendum to decide: Remain or Leave, and have the results added onto the original EU referendum. This means the world to us, we want control of our future!

Additional Information

We are upset that we were never given the option, a sign of complete disrespect and disregard to our generation. As British citizens, we have as much right to vote on matters regarding OUR future within both our country and Europe! The Scottish youth population were given the right to vote on independence back in 2014, therefore, we should be able to vote on a matter just as big. The UK government owe us this vote, we care about this more than anyone could imagine.
