Petition Action

Fetch in a Australia-style points system regarding employment of migrants.

Petition Details

I would like to see Britain bring in an Australia style points system so that only migrants who have qualifications for which there is a recognised shortage (ie doctors, nurses etc) are able to work in the UK.

Additional Information

I feel that any country that cares about it's native people would wish to protect jobs for those born/brought up in that country.

It is estimated that about 75% of all UK jobs go to migrants with that figure even higher with manual/unskilled jobs.
