Petition Details

A CAPS undercover investigation in 2009 found elephants at the Great British Circus chained up for 11 hours a day.
Lions and tigers kept in small mobile cages in beast wagons.
Training is secretive and done behind closed doors. The use of whips , screws and spikes and electric shocks.

Additional Information

Sam Haddock a former trainer admitted before his death to using an electric prod on an elephant for 10 minutes frying him.
A small brown sweet natured bear struggled to balance on the high wire so she was beaten with metal rods until screaming and bleeding. She became so neurotic she beat her head against the wall in her cage until she killed herself.
