Petition Details

The current system of UK benefits is woefully inadequate it stigmatises the most vulnerable in our society, it penalises the poor leading to health and mental issues, it fails to pay adequate living expense and forces people into slavery like conditions. Lastly it has costly unnecessary beurocracy.

A guaranteed income of around £170 figure to be assessed would alleviate the need or benefit system improve health and wellbeing, help the economy as those I part time low paid jobs doesn't
One of the reasons benefits are stigmatized is that people do not realise the benefit budget includes pensions and other expense's
