A government review into the feasibility of driverless trains within the UK
We request a government led industry review, working with all train operators/ management and unions into the feasibility of driverless trains in the UK. The current approach where millions of the population are constrained by the availability of train drivers (sickness or strike) is not acceptable
Driverless technology is being adopted across the car industry (e.g. Google, Nissan and Tesla). This technology on complex, multi vehicle transport routes.
