Highways England to set 50mph speed limit on A34 between Chieveley & West Ilsley
The A34 between Chieveley and West Ilsley currently has a national speed limit (70mph) and carries significant volumes of traffic past slip-roads with very poor intervisibility between vehicles joining and proceeding along the A34 at East Ilsley and Beedon. This results in frequent accidents.
