student loans to be repaid by 1% extra on income tax for that individual
Currently student loans are only repaid once that individual earns more than £21,000 per annum. If an individual is clever enough to ensure thay never earn this amount then the student loan is added to the National Debt to be funded by the ordinary taxpayer. As an alternative, each student who has a loan should pay 1% extra in income tax regardless of incvome until this loan is paid off.
