Stronger penalties for bullying, harassment and hate crime in the workplace.
All of the above costs the UK economy loss of monies. It adversely impacts on the victim's career, physical and mental health and personal life.
As per NHS choices one of the causes of suicide is bullying.
The victim's voice is often lost. There is a general disbelief and isolation when the victim raises concerns through in house grievance processes. It is " institutional failure " when the victim is treated with a lack of humanity and lack of dignity at work. Hence, the victim needs to be supported through the government, parliament and petition. It benefits the UK economy and the victim both.
