parental income not househould income!
Why are my children constantly penalised for having parents who have remained married? My daughter had to work through her 6th form years but had friends claiming £30 a week EMA because they lived just with mum and her household income was low. Dad meanwhile can afford to buy the child a car to run around in and live in a nice big house with his new family! This type of assistance should be available to ALL who decide to go on to further and higher education or AT LEAST be based on PARENTAL not househould income.
