BBC Sport dept. to fund a worldwide honeymoon for Maria de Cezar and her man!
Maria de Cezar captured the hearts of the British public on the BBC Rio 2016 coverage. She is a very chipper young lady with a lovely smile and wit. As the BBC is funded by British licence payers, we demand that BBC Sport pay for a worldwide honeymoon for Maria and her husband after they marry.
She's a TV gem.

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
