Peruse a replacement to the EU with the Commonwealth
A replacement to the EU which is more global and does not make the mistakes of the EU is necessary.
A Commonwealth treaty could be signed to set up free trade, economic cooperation, military cooperation, etc. with our commonwealth friends - there'd be no common government which enforces regulation.
