Petition Details

Put 100% tax on all external to post income for all UK politicians including offshore investments and holdings. Prevent income and/or wealth transfers for a year prior to position. Ban a time offset for potential missed outside earnings. Ban employment post role in associated industry for 5 years.

To discourage people from becoming MPs for financial gain.

To encourage future MPs to consider their country the primary reason for taking a political post.
