Petition Action

Shut down the MET LGBT Network (MLN)

Petition Details

The MLN got into an argument on Twitter with a man named Paul Perrin. As it escalated MLN used opensource to discover who Paul's wife was and used it to intimidate him.
This is pathetic childish bullying behavior which you would expect from a five year old child not a Scotland yard division.

Additional Information

This was an abuse of power which shouldn't have happened. The MLN has demonstrated that they aren't responsible with the resources they have.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The workplace network is the overall responsibility of the employer -- the Metropolitan Police -- and not the UK Government or Parliament.
