Make hospital car parks charge a reasonable set rate for a short or longer stay.
A hospital Car Park charged £3.20 for a 22 minute stay when a colleague collected me after an eye operation. The first 20 minutes was
free parking if a person waits just inside the front doors but in my case it was a long walk from and back to the car.
In many cases persons visiting family members and or friends on the ward will often stay on the ward for an hour or longer. They are penalised often with a higher charge and if the stay is two to three hours, the car parking charge is often unreasonable.
