Ban reserved seats on trains for the able bodied.
I am a frequent long distance train commuter who either cannot find a seat that is not reserved for later in the journey or has to change seats because they have become reserved after I have sat in them.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is an operational decision for train operating companies.
You could start a new petition for this to be included as a requirement in all rail franchise agreements between train operating companies and the Department for Transport.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
