Petition Details

Currently those with children who are not married are not entitled to financial help with bereavement payments.

Additional Information

The discrimination of children from cohabiting couples rather than married ones is inconsistent with our human rights policy.
Please sign this petition to force the government to bring this benefit to all vulnerable families not only those with married parents.
