Implement dog & breeding licences & toughen the laws on those that abuse it
The increase in puppy prices is soring, in turn there are more irresponsible breeders and owners breeding just to make quick cash! they're not been bred for health or temprement, this is causing rescues to overflow as these puppies are growing into unhealthy untrainable and some cases dangerous dogs
Anyone owning a dog by law now has to have it microchipped however this doesn't stop dogs getting into the wrong hands. All owners should be on a data base which can be checked before selling anyone a dog. Anyone breeding accidentally or on purpose should have to pay to be checked by an authority to make sure that are fit & have the education to rear the puppies properly. Anyone not abiding by these rules should be prosecuted/jailed. People need to start taking responsibility for their actions!
