Petition Action

Give money from business lunches at the Conservative Conference to UK food banks

Petition Details

The Conservative Party are selling access to Theresa May and other ministers for more than £3,000 a head, to corporate executives and lobbyists who wish to attend their party conference. At the same time food bank usage in the UK is at a record high.

Additional Information

We are asking that Theresa May and the Conservative Party commit to eradicating poverty in the UK.

Theresa May and the Conservative Party should donate the money they earn at October's party conference - from selling corporations and business leaders access to our elected Government ministers - directly to UK food banks.

Thirteen million people live below the poverty line in the UK.(https://www.trusselltrust.org/what-we-do/)
