Make MP's abstain from voting on issue's of personal and financial interest.
After the expenses scandal clearly highlighted the greed and willingness of our MP's to squeeze every last penny out of the public purse can they really be trusted to vote in the interest of their constituents rather than their parties financial backers or their own business interests.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The House of Commons already has rules about MPs' financial interests. The full rules are set out in the House of Commons Code of Conduct:
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201516/cmcode/1076/1076.pdf
If there is a specific change that you would like to be made to the rules, you could start a petition asking for that change.
