Bring back National Service in the UK for a minimum of 2 years.
National Service is a proven success in countries such as Denmark, Sweden and Norway; it promotes self growth and teaches life skills.
By bringing back National Service, we as a country will bring many positives not only for our Army/Navy/RAF but for the people also.
With a minimum of 2 years served, those who serve can come out with:
The savings to put forward to their first home - boosting economy and helping first-time buyers.
Driving licence.
Skills such as teamwork, responsibility, initiative, stress management, global awareness and diversity.
We have an issue no one really wants to talk about, this could fix it.
This would not count for university goers, those who are under 18 and those who aren't fit enough.
