Increase Revenue By Scrapping Road Fund Licence
I propose that we take the figure for the amount of revenue created from the Road Fund Licence in the UK last Year, divide that number by the number of liters of forecourt Fuel sold in the UK last year, add the resultant figure to the tax on forecourt fuel and scrap Road Fund Licence all together.
Reasons: No drivers will be able to avoid paying it.
The more fuel efficient your vehicle/driving is, the less you pay.
The less you drive the less you pay.
Administration fees will be drastically reduced.
Untaxed visiting foreign vehicles would thereby also contribute to the upkeep of the roads they damage.
