Have the Government review/increase the sentence given to Anjem Choudary

Petition Details

Anjem Choudary was only given half of the maximum sentence he could've been given for his support of ISIS. He will be out in half that time. He has advocated the murder of people around the world and the U.K. He should be given the maximum sentence as a deterrent to those who think the same as him.

Sentences are the responsibility of the courts, which are independent of the Government and Parliament.

Anyone can ask the Attorney General to review a sentence they think is too low, and only one person needs to ask for a sentence to be reviewed. You can find out how to do that here:
