Make it those with cystic fibrosis automatically transfer from DLA to pip
People suffering from conditions like cystic fibrosis that have qualified for DLA must currently apply for pip at 16 . This is a lifelong degenerative multi system condition requiring daily medications and physiotherapy
Currently in the UK half of cystic fibrosis sufferers live to be over 40 . Daily medication and physiotherapy is required to help reduce mucus build up and antibiotics to prevent infections that will cause scar tissue damage to lungs . Adults with cystic fibrosis must pay for their prescription medication if they work even though not taking it would eventually result in death
