Stop the production of the 1 pence coins.

Petition Details

The rate of inflation has made 1 pence coins virtually unusable.
Canada has already removed its lowest value currency from circulation.
If the cost to produce one Canadian Penny is 1.5 Canadian Cents, then we can assume it has a similar cost in the UK.
It is uneconomical to keep in circulation.
