Repeal part of the Legal Services Act 2007 to abolish the SRA and LSB
The Legal Services Act 2007 imposed a highly complex structure for regulation of solicitors. It is expensive to run and gave the public no greater protections. If regulation can revert to The Law Society (supervised by the Ministry of Justice), the money saved can be used to finance legal aid.
