Enforce disabled access in the UK rather than ignoring the issue
Too many businesses in the UK do not have disabled access or even staff that are trained about the equality act and making reasonable adjustments.
Its time the UK took action to make disabled access mandatory in all businesses and for those who fail to be fined by their local authority.
Too many businesses in the UK do not have disabled access or even staff that are trained about the equality act and making reasonable
adjustments for disabled people to have equal access to their services.
Its time councils had the power to issue fines, warnings and even court action against businesses that fail to comply with disability access law. Too little is being done to enforce this and a good number of disabled people do not have the energy to take these issues through court.
