Make sports playing fields dog free areas - we need to protect our children.

I am a grassroots football coach and am becoming increasingly angered by the amount of time spent picking up dog faeces before training and matches. Talking to coaches from around the country this is a national problem. TIME TO BAN DOGS FROM ALL PLAYING FIELDS for the sake of our children.

Additional Information

My club in the East End of Newcastle have pushed hard to protect the kids, however the irresponsible dog owners appear at times that the wardens aren't around.
We have been highlighted in the Newcastle Evening Chronicle and some people have been fined but the practice of being ignorant by some people just doesn't stop.
