Give England free prescriptions in line with the rest of the UK.
For so long English people have been chastised by the government of the UK.
People that reside in England are charged for prescriptions when the rest of the realm is exempt! WHY!?
It borders on racism and is unacceptable in this day & age!
Those of us who have to pay, join the cause!
Soon prescription charges will increase to £8.40 per item, PER ITEM!
And it will only increase year on year!
Surely if the WHOLE of the UK were to pay equally it'd be cheaper for all - is that not equality as a working model?
The unemployed & low earners have excemptions, fair enough but for those who work...where's the fairness?
All I seek is a fair and just system and I challenge parliament to uphold this philosophy in the name of democracy, decency and fairness!
